Rod Storage Tubes
Over the last four years, our rod collection has gone from mostly two-piece to mostly one-piece rods.  With this came some storage challenges.  We had only a couple of shipping tubes, but not enough to hold all we had.  The typical rafter, wall and stand mounts, still allowed for dust build-up and some cobwebs.

Here is a very low cost solution using 4" thin-wall drain pipe made from PVC.  A 10 ft section along with two end-caps, was only about $12 at the local hardware store.   Cut the pipe to 2" longer than your rods, and put on the bottom end-cap.   Insert rods (holds 6 spinning rods), and close it up with the second end-cap.  Done!  10 minutes tops.
